OrigynRx believes that prescription topical therapy of anal fissure can help the Family Practitioner or Gastroenterologist to treat patients effectively without additional consultations and help the surgeon to select those patients who are most in need of surgical sphincterotomy. Optimistic projections are that improved surgical selection might also contribute to reduction in adverse consequences of anal sphincterotomy.

Finally, our Fulfillment and Follow-up System affords streamlined prescription fulfillment and shipping, direct patient billing and support of in-office patient counseling activities. Since OrigynRx was initially conceived by physicians, our system is extraordinarily sensitive to maximizing the physician's ability to provide patient benefit, while minimizing the need for administrative and clerical detail work.
Our FAX-Prescription Form provides a straightforward checklist of prescriptions, which includes many agents whose clinical benefit has been reported in peer-reviewed journals, and which are described in the " AGA Technical Review on the Diagnosis and Care of Patients with Anal Fissure” by the American Gastroenterological Association.
Faxing the Fax-Prescription Form initiates the process, which includes prescription fulfillment, patient billing and delivery of medication and devices to the patient within 24 to 48 hours.
